The Teahouse has been getting some great reviews lately and we thought we’d share some of them with you. Feel free to add your own reviews to Yelp, TripAdvisor, Urban Spoon and other review sites.
From Wilde Things, the blog of actress Olivia Wilde
“The Teahouse, on the famous art gallery strip of Santa Fe, Canyon Road, is another place I’d like to unplug and relocate to my neighborhood in LA. But of course this gorgeous and tranquil spot belongs here, where patrons allow themselves more than 10 minutes for a meal, without balking at the polite request to buss your own table in exchange for your hassle free, peaceful, lazy afternoon on their warm cushions (not to mention their free wifi.) I was sent here by a blogger who recommended their homemade veggie burger, and was delighted to find much more than that on the menu to entice me, and bring me back on days off to sample the extensive tea list, and soak up the sun in their garden.”
From TripAdvisor
“I would really recommend the lip-smacking dishes from The Teahouse. I would really recommend it to my friend for its lovely aromatic dishes. It really left me surprised to know that there are so many types of teas around the world. The restaurant and the décor were really cool. The hostess was indeed charming.”
“I stopped at this place randomly with a friend and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was quaint and peaceful with a European feel. I had the mushroom soup, both creamy and rich, served with crusty fresh bread, and a ginger matcha latte which was perfect, not too sweet. Service was friendly and prompt and their prices reasonable.”
From Yelp:
“Try the Cowboy Chai – yum! A great spot for a bit of refreshment after browsing all the way down Canyon Rd.”
“Had a delightful lunch at the Teahouse in between gallery hopping on Canyon Road. Their patio/garden area is adorable and perfect for lingering outside while the weather is nice.”
“I loved this spot on upper canyon. The tea was delicious and the scone was amazing, but it was really thed ambiance that I enjoyed most. The indoor seating was just as desirable as outdoor. Great art, seating for all types…large groups, couples, small groups, private, etc. One of my favorite spots in Santa Fe so far.”
“A great cup of tea (the French breakfast) and the egged and stuffed burrito for breakfast, sitting under an apricot tree, on a beautiful cool July morning in Santa Fe, with one of the local artists. Wonderful!”
From Urban Spoon
“Excellent tea and with excellent snacks. A great time to enjoy an afternoon with the family. With its excellent ambience and flavourful teas it’s a good place to sit and eat. The Teahouse can leave a soothing feeling in you with its overall presentation and lovely teas.”
“Perfect time of year to sit outside under one of the giant trees and watch folks walking up and down Canyon Road. Big cups of coffee or an unusual tea. The Sunday breakfast/brunch specials are hard to choose – they’re all good, well prepared, and completed with a tasty salad of baby greens.”
“Went there for Sunday brunch because most places shut down on Sunday in Santa Fe. Of course they have a great selection of creative beverages, but their food is amazing too! Creative twists on breakfast favorites, the black rice in the oatmeal is an amazing touch. Also, can’t beat the ambiance with outdoor and indoor dining on Canyon Road.”
